Seven killed in Karachi firing: Wasan

Updated at: 1146 PST,  Friday, July 22, 2011 KARACHI: Interior Minister Sindh, Manzoor Wasan said on Friday that seven people have been killed and ten injured in firing incidents that took place in Malir and Khokhrapar, Geo News reported. The interior minister was speaking to the Sindh Assembly session and said that police has been sent to affected areas while orders to deploy Rangers have also been issued. He urged all political parties and institutions to play their role to restore peace in the city as there is a huge difference in the situation now, Wasan added.
